Baking scones ahead of time? Follow this tip:
Scones are best when they come fresh out the oven. If you still want to prepare the scones and bake them later, this is also possible. Prepare the dough in advance and cut out scone shapes. Leave them in the fridge. When you bake them, brush them with some plant based milk and bake them in the oven. You can also store the unbaked scones in the freezer. When you need them, put the frozen scones on a baking tray and bake them. You may need to add a couple of minutes to the baking time.
